Discover Adventure Photography Competition 2011 – 2012
Welcome to our photography competition! We are inviting anyone who has taken part in a Discover Adventure Challenge to send us any photographs they are particularly proud of that fit into one or more of the categories below. The best photographs will be used in our next brochure (out in Summer 2012) including the front cover.
Prizes – awarded for each category:
The first prize will be a £200 Discover Adventure Gift Voucher
The second prize will be a £50 Cotswold Gift Voucher
The third prize a £25 Cotswold Gift Voucher for each of the category winners
We have created 3 categories:
• The People – we want to see your best groovy group shots (3 or more people)
• The Place – here we are looking for cultural and scenic shots
• The Challenge – show us your action shots
To enter participants must email the highest resolution photographs available to
info@discoveradventure.com
Photographs must be captioned with a file name and accompanied with full contact details and the date and name of the challenge.
The Competition closes on 31 March 2012; all winners will be notified by the 16th April 2012.
T&Cs
By entering images into the Discover Adventure Photography Competition, participants agree to the following conditions:
- Only high-resolution digital files will be accepted (1MB or more)
- All entries/emails must be correctly labeled with name, contact details and the location each image was taken
- Entries will not be returned, sadly
- While we endeavour to publish as many photo competition entries as possible in our brochures, we cannot guarantee that all will make the pages
- A maximum of 4 entries per category, per person will be accepted
- While the photographer retains the copyright of all images submitted as competition entries, Discover Adventure reserves the right to unlimited use of the photos for company brochures, promotion and advertising
- Photographs must have been taken on a Discover Adventure trip
- Amateur photographers only are permitted to enter the competition – (if you earn more than half your income from photography you are not eligible to enter)
- Discover Adventure Gift Vouchers will have an expiry date of December 2012 – bookings must be made by the expiry date
