We trek via glaciers and turquoise-blue lakes to the renowned granite towers of Torres del Paine National Park, the jewel of Patagonia. The countryside is wild and rugged, and our paths pass towering wind-carved cliffs and mountains, moorland, forests and rich grasslands. We cross ice-cold, pure mountain streams and camp in beautiful locations, continually watching out for the graceful condors that wheel in the skies far above us. Andean Trails to machu Picchu

This beautiful route takes you through stunning and diverse landscapes, from snow capped mountains to crystal clear lakes and green valleys. This is a challenging trek on steep trails climbing to the high Huchayccassa mountain pass of 4400m, with breathtaking views of snow capped Andean peaks.

There is plenty of time built in to acclimatise to the altitude in Cuzco and on the first day’s trek. Explore traditional mountain villages and towns en-route, and there is time at the end to explore the many attractions and markets of Cuzco, capital of the Inca Empire.

Jurassic Coast Weekend, departing on 8 October 2010

The impressive coastline A beautiful stretch of the UK coastline but challenging nonetheless, this trek, tucked away in Dorset, will be sure to leave a lasting impression. A weekend packed with sights and sounds of childhood from fossil strewn beaches to paddling in the rockpools.

Our trek starts at Durlston Head, just outside Swanage in Dorset and we trek a total of 23 miles (36km) over two days along on the South West Coastal Path in an east to west direction. The diversity of the area is outstanding and the rugged coastline with serious climbs and decents will provide many a breathtaking view.
