Hi Guys,

Quick note to let you know I have set up a new topic on the welcome home bit of the website. Be a shame to stop chatting now just because we're no longer in the saddle!

Have also just written my blog entry for the final day. It was emotional just writing the flipping thing!

Speak soon guys - I'm going stir crazy without my buddies and cycling of last week!

cheers

Nigel

Hi Chaps, thanks again for such a super time, all the ups and downs were worth it when we reached out goal.  Well done to us all, and yes lets keep in touch.  Good luck to those going on to Geneva!

Rachel, it was good to meet you.....albeit in the lift.  Wishing you a very speedy recovery

x

Thanks for the wishes for the Geneva trip. It was very different from the L to P leg but very enjoyable. I think I can speak for the other 8 who carried on. We missed you all and with only 22 of us it was much quieter on the road with less likelhood of catching someone up although it did happen at the water stops and lunch. I missed catching up with Amanda on the flat sections and then getting severely burned off as she dug in on the hills. We still had Dennis flying past especially on the steep bits! Amazingly on the last day going to Geneva over the Jura Mountains Dennis went 7 miles up the wrong mountain, retraced and was still one of the first to finish! How can we share photos, mine are not brilliant but may be of interest.

David

Hi David,

Might be worth posting them on that facebook page of ours - so long as they're labelled as Geneva so we dont all think we went wrong somewhere on the way to Paris!!
